 The purpose of this course is to develop shooting instructors with the knowledge and fundamentals of a pistol mounted optic which has become an industry standard in firearms mechanics. This course will teach the instructor how to field strip their respective weapon platform, how to maintain optimal proficiency with a pistol mounted optic and provide techniques that could be performed on a day-to-day basis while using the pistol mounted optic in terrain and situations that may not be expected. The instructors will be provided tools to understand adult learning concepts as it applies to instructing officers in this field and how to operate a range training to assist their shooters in becoming competent shooters with their pistol mounted optic weapon platform.
